Protects from glare!
This iPad mini screen protector seems to be doing a good job of getting the job done. To be honest, we accidentally ordered the anti-glare protector. We've always used the 'regular' ones in the past and have been happy with those. When this one arrived and we realized our mistake, we decided to try it and see how it measured up. I'm happy to say that it works every bit as well!The biggest difference is the opaqueness of the cover. This one is not completely transparent when you hold it up to the light (not on the ipad). It's similar to a frosted window. That's what makes it anti-glare.The tactile experience is different with this cover too. Touching the screen requires a little bit of a different 'touch' than a standard cover. It's not better or worse, just different and should be noted.Application and use of the protector is exactly the same as far as I can tell.When ordered, it arrived well packaged. It actually arrived earlier than it said it would be.I would recommend this if you're looking for an anti-glare screen cover, keeping in mind that it does feel slightly different than a standard screen protector.

    In short: If you're using you're primarily using this iPad indoors and occasional go outside, don't buy this product. If you're primarily using it outside or in your car where you experience a lot of glare, DEFINITELY buy this product.

    I purchased an iPad mini to install in my car! The only unfortunate part was the insane amounts of glare, so I bought this anti-glare screen protector in hopes of resolving the issue! And it worked BEAUTIFULLY!

    Now as with all screen protectors there are four important aspects: ease of installation, protection, clarity, and feeling.

    In regards to ease of installation, the instructions are very clear, there are plenty of youtube videos demoing how to do it! And honestly, I got a pack of three, but I managed to get it perfect on the first go! And if by chance you manage to mess it up, they have a fantastic policy where they'll replace the cover.

    When it comes to protection, it's not different from any other average screen protector. Will it survive a hammer being hit on it? No! Will it be protected from drops? No. Will it protect from scratches and being thrown around in your bag? Absolutely! You're buying a screen protector, not a case.

    Now clarity is a tough one. When you're using your iPad in the sun, it's the best screen protector you'll ever use... Unfortunately, in order to build a screen protector which has great anti-glare functionality, it needs to be a bit thicker, frosted, and refract the light. So it does have a frosted tint, you can definitely tell it's on and there is some color degradation.

    In regard to feeling, when you touch it, it does feel remarkably different than a typical iPad screen, I don't mind it, but I can imagine many wouldn't like it at all! This, of course, is a byproduct of the frosted coated material to refract the light.

    So, should you buy this screen protector? Well, it depends on when you're using your iPad! If you're at home, no, buy one of Tech Armor's standard screen protectors, this isn't designed for you! The benefits don't exceed the negatives in that use case. If you're primarily using your iPad outside, or in your car where you're receiving a great amount of glare, THEN ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION BUY THIS PRODUCT.

    I bought the anti-glare/anti-fingerprint (matte) version of this product. It was easy enough to install, although, nitpicky as I am, it took a couple of minutes because I did have some alignment issues, not because the product was lopsided or anything, I just could not get both the start button and the camera smack-dab in the middle of each of their holes (I still haven't done so, but they're pretty close, so no worries there). I love that they included the lint-free polishing cloth, as well as the bubble removal tape to get of those pesky minuscule dust particles. The smoothing card was also helpful to get rid of any bubbles on the edges.As advertised, the product does have a matte finish, which I don't mind because it does reduce glare, as well as prevent fingerprints (unless you have excessively oily fingers). It does take away some of the crisp clarity of the iPad screen itself, so I'm wondering if I should have went with the HD Clear package or the Retina package instead. I do like the thickness of the product, because if any accidents should occur, the screen protector would absorb the shock well enough and protect the iPad screen from any possible scratches.

    I've read some of these reviews and scratch my head about them. This is a MATTE finish, as advertised, so it does reduce clarity somewhat, but that's what it's supposed to do. It makes it softer and decreases the fingerprints significantly. If you expect your screen protector to have the same clarity as if you have nothing on it, get the clear one that Tech Armor also sells. But don't complain when the clear one doesn't hide the fingerprints.
    The picture used for selling the product is apparently the one for the clear finish, it doesn't accurately depict what you are receiving.
    Personally, I'm still up in the air about whether or not I like the matte finish, but this is what I chose and it does work well.
    For installation, it was easy with very little bubble problems. Read the instructions and use the tools provided.
    Also, this is for an Ipad Mini. Someone complained that it covered up the mic hole. There is no mic on the face of an Ipad mini so this is cut the way it's supposed to be. Although it is a hair smaller than the screen so it does take a very slight positioning alignment to apply it (but this is minor).
    Overall, I'm very pleased with the product and value and will be purchasing more of these. My only complaint is that the shipping cost is exorbitant.

    Bis jetzt die beste Folie die ich hatte.
    Anbringen hat beim ersten Versuch fast Blasenfrei funktioniert. Die Blasen ließen sich bis auf eine leicht und schnell mit dem mitgelieferten Spatel entfernen. Eine Blase ist außerhalb des Bildschirms, stört mich dort aber nicht.

    Ich benutze das alte iPad Mini 1 (ohne Retina) als Navi auf meinem Trike.
    Selbst bei direkter Sonne ist nun keine Spiegelung mehr feststellbar.
    Die Schärfe nimmt zwar etwas ab, aber das ist für meinen Einsatzzweck irrelevant.

    Great anti-glare cover, it keeps the colors of the screen as bright as you can expect from an anti-glare cover and above all you do not see fingerprints and "oily" marks on the screen as it happens with normal screen protector. The anti-glare is very effective and it really helps if you are reading outside or if you have outdoors hobbies which may require you to use a tablet (my case) as you do not see marked reflections on the screen.

    I have another Tech Armor screen protector on my Android tablet and it works like a charm there too (hence I then bought this one for my iPad Mini).

    Great value for money and you get more than one which should be the norm as you are bound to scratch it at some point, if you buy an anti-glare is because you are planning to take your tablet outside after all!

    Este producto prácticamente no refleja y las hullas no se quedan en la pantalla. Confiere una superficie mate que a mi me gusta pero mucha gente no lo justifica ya que la "vistosidad" de la pantalla retina se pierde. Sacrificas calidad de imagen y un poco de brillo por no tener reflejos ni huellas. A mí me merece la pena. Otra cosa es que he metido la pata y lo he comprado para el ipad Mini 4. El agujero de la cámara y el del botón no coinciden por 2 milímetros pero... por 7 euros... la verdad es que no me importa.
